Eastern Sicily

This trip takes you to the east of Sicily, the cradle of Greek culture in Sicily. We organize the trip for you and your fellow travellers, book the accommodation and the German-speaking guided tours of the famous sights. You will stroll through the old town, through the market and visit the cathedral. The world-famous excavations of Neapolis (Syracuse) will be visited on a guided tour. – We are also happy to take you on a river cruise on the Anapo River.

And of course, Etna is not to be missed. If you wish, we can take you on a tour of the large lava fields in a jeep. Our friend Massimo will take you to the Etna caves, show you craters that you can walk around and take you to visit an Etna beekeeper.A visit to the Vendicari nature reserve with its flamingos is also anintegral part of the trip. The famous baroque town of Noto is just as much a part of the program as the guided tour of the Roman Villa Casale near Piazza Armerina.

An optional cooking course can be booked during each trip.

The accommodations are small and family-run and have no more than 12 rooms. They are sometimes in the city, sometimes in the countryside (agriturismi), sometimes in the mountains, sometimes by the sea. This way you can get to know Sicily in all its diversity. Of course, we are also happy to organize your arrivals and departures, as well as extension stays, in an environmentally friendly way.
