The Marche – one of Italy’s unknown regions and therefore really off the beaten track.

The Sibillini Mountains with beautiful hiking trails, one of the most beautiful stalactite caves in the world, sunflower fields as far as the eye can see, long sandy beaches, an internationally renowned opera festival, sleepy villages, lively seaside towns and small cities – that’s what Marche has to offer.

The much-praised wines and, of course, the delicious local dishes deserve special mention.
